ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Mechanical Engineer, you'll support the delivery of mechanical engineering design across a diverse portfolio of water infrastructure projects while continuing to develop your technical knowledge and professional experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Producing mechanical engineering designs for water and wastewater treatment facilities, pumping stations and associated infrastructure.
- Preparing technical calculations, equipment schedules, specifications and engineering documentation.
- Supporting feasibility studies, optioneering and detailed design activities.
- Working collaboratively with Project Managers, multidisciplinary teams and clients to deliver high-quality engineering solutions.
- Assisting with technical reviews and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Continuing your professional development with the support of experienced engineers and mentors.

ABOUT YOU
Essential
- Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience delivering or supporting mechanical engineering design projects.
- An understanding of mechanical systems associated with water and wastewater treatment infrastructure, or experience from a similar process industry.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.
- A proactive approach to learning and professional development.
Desirable
- Experience within the UK water sector.
- Working towards Chartered Engineer (CEng) status.
- Experience producing engineering calculations, specifications and technical documentation.
- Experience working with contractors or supporting project delivery.
