We're looking for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Water team based in London, High Wycombe, Reading, Brighton or Southampton. Working on major clean water and wastewater programmes, you'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects from concept through to construction. ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you'll play an important role in delivering EICA solutions across a wide variety of water infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with project managers, clients and multidisciplinary teams to develop practical, sustainable engineering solutions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering electrical and EICA designs from feasibility through to detailed design and construction support.
  • Producing Single Line Diagrams, Block Cable Diagrams, Network Infrastructure Diagrams and technical specifications.
  • Developing electrical calculations, control philosophies and equipment schedules.
  • Supporting design reviews, HAZOPs and technical workshops.
  • Mentoring graduate and junior engineers while contributing to technical excellence across the team.

ABOUT YOU

Essential

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience delivering electrical or EICA design within the water sector or comparable infrastructure, utilities or industrial environments.
  • Experience producing electrical calculations, technical specifications and design documentation.
  • Knowledge of low voltage electrical systems and control philosophies.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary engineering teams.

Desirable

  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer, or actively working towards professional registration.
  • Experience participating in HAZOPs and design reviews.
  • Knowledge of DSEAR requirements and hazardous area design.
  • Experience using digital engineering tools and modern design methodologies.
