As we continue to grow our Energy & Resources business, we're looking for an experienced Digital Engineering Manager (BIM) to help shape the future of digital delivery across some of the UK's most complex infrastructure projects. With a strong reputation for technical excellence and innovation, we are expanding our capabilities across Information Management and 3D Modelling in line with ISO 19650 standards.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead digital transformation across projects spanning Hydropower & Dams, Transmission & Distribution, Renewables, Waste and Generation, while influencing best practice, driving innovation, and delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients.
About the Role
As a Digital Engineering Manager, you will lead the delivery of Digital Engineering (DE) and Building Information Modelling (BIM) solutions across a diverse portfolio of major Energy & Resources projects. You'll be responsible for developing and implementing digital strategies, ensuring compliance with ISO 19650, and overseeing the successful delivery of project-specific digital requirements.
Working closely with project teams, clients, and senior stakeholders, you'll provide leadership across the full project lifecycle, manage multiple projects simultaneously, mentor technical teams, and champion innovative approaches to digital project delivery.
Your Impact
You'll play a key role in advancing our digital engineering capability by embedding best practice in information management, BIM delivery, and digital workflows. Through your leadership, projects will benefit from robust digital strategies, efficient data management, enhanced collaboration, and improved project outcomes. By mentoring colleagues and working with senior stakeholders, you'll help drive the adoption of innovative digital solutions that create lasting value for both our clients and our business.
About You
You'll have a degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline and, ideally, hold or be working towards professional certifications such as BIM certifications, buildingSMART accreditation, PMP, or equivalent.
You'll bring experience developing and managing key BIM and information management documentation, including EIR, AIR, PIR and BEP, alongside strong technical knowledge of digital engineering processes and standards.
You will also have experience with a range of industry-leading digital tools, including Autodesk Revit, Civil 3D, Navisworks, Inventor and Autodesk Construction Cloud, as well as coordination and collaboration platforms such as Revizto and Power BI. Experience leading Common Data Environment (CDE) implementation, model federation, and clash detection workflows would be highly beneficial.
