We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our Water Sector team. In this role you will have the opportunity to work within a dynamic environment, playing a key role in managing multidisciplinary projects, ensuring technical excellence, stakeholder satisfaction, and on-time, on-budget delivery of water related projects and programmes for our key clients.

As an Assistant Project Manager, you will work closely with experienced project manager, engineers, contractors and key stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of capital projects and programmes. You will be building close relationships with stakeholders and helping to ensure that projects are delivered on time, to cost, and to a high level of quality. Excellent client service is a key expectation of our Project Managers.
You will assist with planning and scheduling, tracking budgets and milestones, managing risks, and ensuring projects align with safety, quality, and environmental standards. The position is perfect for someone at the early stages of their project management journey, especially if you are passionate about delivery of public infrastructure. You may also have opportunities to work directly on client teams, in a PMO role helping to manage a project or programme of work with the client team.

About You
To be considered for this opportunity you will need to have prior experience in a relevant role – such as project management, project co-ordination or engineering. You will need to have at least 3 years post graduate experience. Relevant experience in the water, energy or other utility/infrastructure sector will be advantageous.
You will be able to demonstrate an ability to build successful working relationships, and be able to manage or co-ordinate works to meet deadlines. You will need to be self-motivated and show initiative in a workplace environment. You will also need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and work well as part of a team.
